Another day of effort to arrive at a little paradise called BorSean in Phang Nga.
For dinner we took a drive to Bang Pat, a tiny town of about 300 people that exists on a mangrove island and is up on stilts. Our guide Tick did some volunteer work here with the mangrove conversation project so he's a bit of a celebrity.
The family he stayed with has started a seafood restaurant since the whole village mostly consists of fisherman. Below is part of the fresh-caught feast served up.
The aftermath of our dinner. I think Tick and the family he knows we're proud to showcase their culinary skills - we overrate.
